Christ Church Ramsdell
Christ Church, Ramsdell was built in 1867 funded by public subscription at a cost of £1,100 to serve the growing village and save the people from the long walk over the fields to Wootton St Lawrence.  It is a simple flint and brick building which still has a victorian feel and it has a very good heating system.
The Church is in the centre of the village , which helps to foster its strong and active community.  It includes some who were born in the village and others who have recently moved in - happily with children - who all take part in church life.
As well as its welcome, Ramsdell Church prides itself on its singing - worth sampling at anytime - but at its peak at Christmas.
